cedar, camphor twin aromatic
dusty childhood memories
attics explored, dark corners
pirates lurked, to others
teddy bear tea parties
Victrola spun while past breathed
brittle acetate, faded uniforms
cotillion dresses, satin pools
offered swim, faint odors
belonged somewhere else
exhaled breath, orphaned
once more
